Before using this software (hereinafter referred to as "AstroBox"), please read and fully understand the terms of this disclaimer. Continuing to download, install or use AstroBox means that you have read, understood and accepted all the content described in this statement, and agree to bear all risks and responsibilities arising from the use of this software.

I. Software Attribute Statement​

AstroBox is a third-party tool application developed and released by independent developers, aiming to provide users with convenient tools for installing third-party resources (including watch faces, quick apps, firmware, etc.) on Xiaomi brand smart wearable devices.

This software is not developed, authorized, released or supported by Xiaomi Inc. or any of its affiliates, and has no affiliation, cooperation, agency or other legal relationship with Xiaomi Inc. Xiaomi Inc. is not responsible for the functions, performance, security of AstroBox or any consequences caused by the use of this software.

II. User Behavior and Responsibility​

The various functions provided by AstroBox may involve custom modifications to the device system, including but not limited to resource replacement, configuration adjustment, installation of unofficial content, etc. Such operations may have unpredictable effects on the normal operation, security, and data integrity of the device, including but not limited to:

  • System instability, abnormal functions, or inability to start the device;

  • Loss, damage, or leakage of user data;

  • Invalidation of official service agreements or loss of warranty rights;

  • Incompatibility with pre-installed systems or services;

  • Triggering of device manufacturer's account management mechanism resulting in login restrictions.

The above operations are entirely based on the user's independent choice. Users should make decisions based on a full understanding of the relevant risks and independently bear all the consequences arising therefrom. AstroBox developers are not responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused by the user's use of this software.

III. Account Login and Data Transfer Tips​

Some AstroBox functions involve calling Xiaomi account service interfaces to access resources or enable specific device operations. During this process, user-provided account credentials (including username, password, or authorization tickets, etc.) will be directly submitted to Xiaomi's official servers to complete identity verification.

This software does not store, record or tamper with user credentials. However:

  • The security of this transfer behavior completely depends on Xiaomi's server and its interface implementation mechanism, which is beyond the control or guarantee of this software;

  • If user accounts are restricted, login fails, or data problems occur due to interface changes, service policy adjustments, or security mechanism triggers, this software and its developers will not be responsible for related liabilities;

  • Users should carefully judge whether to use such functions and bear full responsibility for the risks involved in using account credentials.

We strongly recommend users to operate only in a trusted network environment and evaluate their account security requirements before authorizing login.

IV. Third-party Resource Sources and Content Legality​

Some of the resource content provided by AstroBox comes from public networks or third-party community platforms, including but not limited to open-source communities (such as GitHub), forum platforms (such as Mi Forum community), content distribution networks (such as jsDelivr), etc.

These resources are provided by their original publishers. AstroBox only acts as a tool to access and install them, and does not make any promises or guarantees regarding the following aspects of third-party resources:

Legality, completeness or accuracy of the content;

  • Does not contain malicious code or destructive behavior;

  • Does not infringe any intellectual property rights or other legitimate rights and interests of any third party;

  • Compatibility and security with user devices or systems.

Users should decide whether to access or use third-party resources themselves, under the premise of ensuring their legitimate rights and interests and complying with relevant laws and regulations, and independently bear any legal, technical, or economic responsibilities that may arise therefrom.

V. Security Responsibilities and Disclaimer Clauses​

AstroBox is provided on an "as is" basis, and makes no express or implied warranties as to its continuous availability, system compatibility, performance, or suitability for a particular purpose. Users expressly agree that AstroBox developers and related parties are not liable for any form of loss (including but not limited to direct loss, indirect loss, loss of profits, data loss, device damage or legal liability) arising from the use or inability to use this software.

In addition, this software does not provide official technical support, nor is it obligated to respond to problems, failures, or risk feedback generated during use.

VI. Terms Changes and Final Interpretation Rights​

AstroBox reserves the right to modify the content of this disclaimer at any time as required by changes in laws and regulations, software function updates, or operational strategy adjustments. Relevant changes will be announced promptly through publishing channels and will not be notified separately.

If users continue to use this software after the disclaimer is updated, they are deemed to accept all modified terms. AstroBox developers reserve the right of final interpretation of this disclaimer.
